It’s that time of the month again, and it’s usually a time where I groan out loud at the exact same comments every month. They go something along the lines of ‘PlayStation Plus sucks!’, ‘what’s with all the indie games?’, ‘why can’t we get a AAA game every month?’ etc. It mostly comes from people who seem to think the only good games on the market are AAA games and who baulk at the idea of ever downloading an indie game.
Well, this month they may actually be satisfied. Or, let’s face it, there will still be some who complain about a service that’s great value for money.
Sony has announced February’s line-up of PlayStation Plus games and it’s looking pretty sweet. The PS4 will get four games, two of which are there to satisfy the constant cries for ‘AAA’. Ubisoft’s medieval action fighting game For Honor, which definitely has its criticisms but is still pretty fun to play. Next up is one game I’ve been meaning to get around to playing for ages as I’ve loved other games in the series. Hitman: The Complete First Season can finally be added to my library.
Here’s the full list of games:
- For Honor (PS4)
- Hitman: The Complete First Season (PS4)
- Gunhouse (PS4, PS Vita)
- Rogue Aces (PS4, PS Vita)
- Divekick (PS3, PS Vita)
- Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (PS3)
Finally, Sony is also upping the 10GB cloud storage space to a decent 100GB. Not bad for a few quid a month!
For PS3 and PS Vita players, remember that February is the last month that you’ll be getting games via PS Plus.
