Although we’re still none the wiser about what’s actually going on in Death Stranding, Hideo Kojima has at least given us some more footage to mull over.
Kojima was taking part in a developer panel at TGS 2018 and decided to show a new gameplay clip to fans. It introduces everyone’s favourite voice actor Troy Baker’s character for the first time.
Baker will be playing the Man in the Golden Mask, who can be seen in the new clip controlling the black substance that’s already been shown in Death Stranding’s world. He uses this power to create a tentacled monster that has its own golden mask, which promptly roars at Norman Reedus. We assume that Reedus then has to kick its ass.
As always, the game is looking gorgeous, but I still don’t have the foggiest idea about what this game is about.
