Obsidian reveals their new RPG called The Outer Worlds

Obsidian appeared on stage at The Game Awards to reveal their new game, called The Outer Worlds. The creators of the original Fallout game seem to have taken a lot of inspiration from that title, and mixed in a Borderlands visual style to produce what looks like a fascinating space RPG. Due for release in 2019, the most surprising thing is that it will be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC, despite the studio being purchased by Microsoft very recently. I guess that points to the fact that it has been in development for quite a while, and is nearing completion, which is a very similar situation to Compulsion Studios acquisition just as they were finishing up on A Happy Few.
