Microsoft announce Xbox Project Scarlett

During the Xbox E3 conference Project Scarlett was announced. The next-gen Xbox is due to launch at the end of 2020.

Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer revealed that the new console will debut alongside Halo Infinite. The new console will have 8K support, SSD storage, and ray-tracing graphics and will keep the optical disc drive.

All games and accessories will also work on the new system, so those of you hoping to pick up the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller can rest easy.
