Who doesn’t like more Pokemon? Probably those who don’t really care about Pokemon, but if that was you then you wouldn’t be reading this, would you?
In any case, two legends will be coming to Pokemon Sun and Moon and Ultra Sun and Moon on October 5th. Players will be able to download either Reshiram or Zekrom, who hail from the games Unova region.
Whichever you want is down to the game you own but allow me to explain the difference between the two. Reshiram is a fire-type Pokemon while Zekrom is an electric-type Pokemon. You can see the full abilities and statistics of each below.
If you’ve got either Sun edition of the game then you can download Zekrom, while Moon players will get Reshiram.
So how do you get them? Find out below.
How to get Reshiram or Zekrom for Pokemon Sun and Moon
- Open your Pokemon Sun and Moon or Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon game.
- Select Mystery Gift on the main menu.
- Select Receive Gift.
- Select Get with Code/Password, then Yes, then Yes again to connect to the internet.
- Enter your code.
- Watch as you receive your Pokemon.
- Resume the game, make sure you have an empty space in your party, and speak to the delivery person in any Pokemon Center to receive your Pokemon.
- Be sure to save your game.
If you’re in the UK or Europe you can get hold of a code through the Nintendo Network between October 5-21. US residents will have to go to their local Target store between October 19-28. Canadian residents will get the code in the monthly Trainer Club Newsletter.
The final release of new Pokemon will occur in November. In this one you’ll be able to get Ho-Oh or Lugia.
