March is the first month where PS3 and Vita games are no longer part of the PS+ free offering, but PS4 owners are getting a couple of belters with the giveaway of The Witness and Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.
The Witness, from acclaimed game designer Johnathan Blow, is a puzzle game set on a mysterious island where the player has to solve environmental puzzles in order to progress and solve the secrets hidden within. The Witness is probably the only game released ever where I have had to use pen and paper to help solve the fiendishly hard puzzles.
Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered is probably the seminal first-person shooter. Made by Infinity Ward it redefined the genre back on its release in 2007, and the remastered version bought the game into this generation with improved visuals. And it contains the wonderful multiplayer “Prop” mode.
Both games are available from 5th March.
